Escrow London – One of Two Software Escrow Vendor’s Awarded a G-Cloud 12 Framework Agreement.
1st October 2020. Software and SaaS Escrow supplier Escrow London today announced that they have successfully been approved to supply their innovative SaaS and Software escrow solutions through the latest iteration of the government’s G-Cloud framework for the third year running. Escrow London is one of only two UK software escro vendors approved under the G-Cloud framework.
G-Cloud 12 is the Crown Commercial Service’s procurement framework for cloud-based computer services hosted via the Digital Marketplace. The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) works with organisations across the public sector to ensure that maximum value is extracted from all commercial relationships and to improve the quality of service delivery. Being available through the digital marketplace means that departments and organisations can purchase the technology and deploy it quickly through pre-approved commercial arrangements.
Evan Lever, founder and CEO of Escrow London, said “We are delighted to have been awarded the G-Cloud 12 framework agreement with the Crown Commercial Service for the third time. This approval allows us to continue supplying our innovative SaaS and software escrow solutions to the public sector. This award is testament to our continued growth through innovation and customer centric solutions including the provision of automated deposits directly from GitHub and Bitbucket as standard with all our agreements.”
The framework agreement covers traditional software escrow, verification services and innovative SaaS continuity solutions within AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform for public sector.
An example of a typical SaaS escrow solution ordered under a previous iteration of the G-Cloud would be a SaaS hosted testing application used by the UK Department for Education. Under this agreement, the developer deposits with Escrow London the source code, documentation, databases and AWS deployment scripts for the testing application. On an annual basis, Escrow London’s team of AWS certified engineers compiles the code and redeploys the system to a clean AWS environment independent of the developer. This replicated environment is then tested by the DFE providing them with full assurance that in the unlikely event of a release, the deposited system would actually function and provide business continuity.
